MINERGIE Solar Shading Module
A MINERGIE solar shading module is a system made up of a tested solar shading product and a tested solar shading control. The solar shading must be an outdoor product that is moveable and automated. DGNB® | LEED® Product declarations
Griesser provides product declarations for the building labels DGNB® and LEED®.
Building certificates are used for the objective evaluation of the sustainability of buildings. A comprehensive quality evaluation over the entire building life cycle.
Solar shading systems are of decisive importance in this connection.
Greenbuildingproducts provide product declarations for the building labels DGNB® and LEED® on the basis of verifiable manufacturer's specifications and supporting documentation. All product declarations can be accessed at the greenbuildingproducts database. www.tool.greenbuildingproducts.eu

KlimaHaus
Energy efficiency involves a number of players: builders, planners, parties responsible for construction, building material suppliers, researchers, trainers, developers, politicians, managers and service providers. It is only through the involvement of all the above parties that we can achieve the necessary energy savings and avoid carbon dioxide emissions in the construction sector.
ClimateHouse Agency provides extensive specialist knowledge in all sectors of relevance to construction. South Tyrol has taken on a pioneering role in Italy – not just because energy building certification is already binding here, but also because the vast number of ClimateHouses in this region provides a concrete example of energy-saving and sustainable building.
ClimateHouse Agency aims to combine acting ecologically with thinking economically. A building with quality of life doesn’t have to be expensive. The opposite is in fact true as it provides a whole host of ways to save money and also protects the environment.
Griesser is a ClimateHouse certified partner.
ClimateHouse’s partners distinguish themselves through the high quality in their specialist sectors and use for sustainable economic development. They are characterized by responsible actions, shaping the world of tomorrow today with a real zest for life.
ClimateHouse’s partners help to make the ClimateHouse vision – “living healthily and ecologically in a natural living space” – a reality in production, processing and services.
Commitment
We believe in sustainability
We advocate for sustainable development throughout our value-added chain and are always aware of our eco-nomic, ecological, and social responsibility to future generations.
Environmental certificates are essential to sustainable architecture, providing a basis for engaging with ap-proaches to lower-impact, eco-friendlier construction. Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) are a reliable source of information for architects, developers, and owners who believe in sustainable construction.
An EPD describes building materials, products, and components in terms of their environmental impact, based on ecological life-cycle assessments and functional and technical properties. This quantitative, objective and verified information relates to the entire life-cycle of a construction product, making EPDs an important basis for the sustainability assessment of buildings.
Institut Bauen und Umwelt e.V. (IBU) focuses on exactly that. Before a product can be certified, IBU evaluates every aspect of it. Material cycles must be absolutely transparent before the sought-after EPD is issued.
Griesser holds EPDs for all its external venetian blinds and sliding shutters made of aluminum and wood.
